Bags by Stephanie Bee
Each bag is designed by Stephanie herself. The bags are made from a very fine vegetable tanned leather. Each print is hand done and unique to your bag. These bags were inspired by an art class led by Stephanie in a homeless shelter in Philadelphia.
Stephanie incorporates her love of art by handcrafting pocketbooks, each a one-of-a-kind, unique piece of art. Enjoy portable art!

Learn about the process
Stephanie sketches and carves linoleum blocks to serve as the print templates. By printing on newspaper she’s able to test the designs. When satisfied Stephanie designs patterns to precut leather panels which serve as the canvas. After mixing and selecting ink colors she rolls ink on the linoleum block with a brayer. Each panel is printed and allowed to dry for three days. The bags are then ready to be assembled for your one of a kind StephanieBee Bag.
The leather is beautiful and high quality. Not only are they manufactured in the USA, but the leather and hardware come from here as well. Every bag is unique, and each is made with an inordinate amount of love
